ABOUT JESSI LACOSTA
After work one night when she was only 16 - a man with a gun changed her life… And within 24 hours she understood the cliché “life is short." Finding her ultimate passion and using it was mandatory not a silly teenager’s dream. Story telling (Communications) saved her life that night.
Still more discoveries were in sight. Although she loved dance and music, scrutinizing the difficulties of her mom’s artist-lead life, she vowed to study something more stable. LaCosta gravitated naturally to media-related courses at James Madison University and University of Baltimore. Several more years elapsed before she harnessed her talents and desires together for mentoring and motivating her true calling. In LaCosta’s “exploration phase” as she affectionately refers to it she worked in sales, advertising, radio, print, technology retrieval, start-up medical facilities and the Arts. It is with these rich experiences that she applies her knowledge to help others.
During her tenure at one of the nation's top advertising agencies, Deustch Inc., LaCosta executed research and planning for successful national client campaigns and product launches. She is also experienced in the development and implementation of marketing research relative to the visibility and growth of clients from state-of-the-art medical practices and surgical centers to arts organizations. She has been responsible for brand development, identity standards maintenance, and image integrity through advertising, print materials, web sites, and logo usage.
Conducting various study strategies, she has reconstructed organizations' institutional branding efforts.
